NEW RAILROAD WELL COMPLETION - 2019

The Town of Washtucna, Washington (Owner), intends to solicit bids for the completion of the New Railroad Well project through the Limited Public Works Projects pursuant to Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 39.04.155. The Work includes completion of an existing well hole using cable tool drilling through the existing water bearing zone located at the bottom of the well and by drilling a "rat hole" for debris to collect. The work also includes wellhead piping improvements, other miscellaneous work, and an additive alternate pertaining to a magnetic deviation survey of the uncased portion of the well hole. Estimated cost for the Work is approximately $30,000.

This Project is being funded by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Washington State Community Development Block Grant Program. Because the project is being paid for by federal funds, all work will be subject to all federal and state requirements relating to the use of such funds, including the Davis Bacon Wage Rates or Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Projects, EEO, Washington State Contracting Laws, etc. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the state or federal wage rates. The Work shall be complete and ready for final payment by January 20, 2020.
