REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CAD/AVL System and Scheduling Software
Mason County Public Transportation Benefit Area dba Mason Transit Authority (MTA) announces its intention to seek proposals from interested, qualified and experienced firms to provide and implement Computer Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Locator (CAD/AVL), automatic stop annunciators, mobile data terminals (MDTs), automatic passenger counting, and rider amenities to its current fleet of fixed route and Dial-A-Ride vehicles. Additionally, MTA wishes to implement a new ride scheduling system for general Dial-A-Ride.

Submittals must be prepared in accordance with requirements set forth in the RFP. One (1) original and five (5) copies must be received NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. FRIDAY, December 29, 2017, at MTA’s Administration Office located at 790 E. Johns Prairie Rd, Shelton, WA 98584. Late submittals will not be accepted and will be returned to the respondent unopened. Failure to include any of requested information and properly completed forms and documents may be cause for the rejection of the proposal.
MTA reserves the right to schedule and host a pre-proposal conference, if needed. MTA intends to address questions and concerns through addenda and/or email communications as needed during consultant submittal and review process.
MTA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals without cause and to waive any informalities or irregularities and to make an award deemed in its own best interest, and red-advertise if necessary.
Proposers will be required to comply with all FTA, FHWA, State and local rules and regulations where applicable.
