The I-5 / Chamber Way Bridge – Emergency Repair and Replacement Project in Chehalis, WA includes Constructing a new four-lane Chamber Way Bridge to span future configuration of I-5.

Some Major Elements:

  • New (4) lane Chamber Way Bridge, consisting of (4) 12 foot lanes with bicycle & pedestrian facilities

(Bridge type to be compatible to allow future planned 6-lane Chamber Way & Interstate 5 configurations)

  • Removal of the temporary Steel Truss Span and the existing Bridge (Bridge No. 5/227)
  • Disassembly & Delivery of temporary Steel Truss Span to WSDOT designated location
  • Other project elements include: Embankment, Grading, Illumination, Landscaping, Noise Barrier Walls, Retaining Walls, Sidewalk, Storm  drainage, Traffic Signals & Signing, Water quality,  and more
