Peninsula Apartments Re-Siding/Window/Painting Project – Peninsula Housing Authority

The Peninsula Housing Authority (PHA) is accepting SEALED BIDS from qualified contractors to tear off existing siding material, install new siding, install new windows, and paint all buildings at Peninsula Apartments, 210 Fir Ave, Forks, WA 98331.

Bids will be accepted until 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the PHA office located at 2603 S. Francis St, Port Angeles, WA 98362 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by an authorized representative in the PHA conference room. The sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “BID PROPOSAL-Peninsula Apartments Re-Siding/Window/Painting Project”. Bids submitted to other offices, received late or via facsimile or e-mail will NOT be considered.

Bid instructions and the project manual are available at www.peninsulapha.org or available for pick-up at the main office of Peninsula Housing Authority, 2603 S. Francis St., Port Angeles, WA 98362. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED project walk-through on-site will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017.

Bacon wage rates.

A bid deposit is required for the Bid Submittal. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid proposal amount. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Housing Authority.

The Housing Authority will determine the lowest responsible bidder and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the process or to accept the bid, which in its estimation best serves their interests.

Estimated Construction Time Frame: June 1, 2017 to August 31, 2017.

Estimated Cost: $315,000.00 to $325,000.00
