PATTISON BASE IMPROVEMENTS – UST PROJECT #1612

INTERCITY TRANSIT

Intercity Transit, the public transportation provider in Thurston County, Washington, is requesting bids for the Pattison Base Improvements – Underground Storage Tank (UST) Project #1612.  The work of the project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following, and all other work as described in the plans and specifications:

  1. The preparation and paving of an undeveloped lot north of the existing Pattison base bounded by Martin Way East and Pattison Street, SE. Work includes construction of new fuel canopy building, landscaping, concrete and asphalt paving, and on-site storm water controls;
  2. Preparation and installation of new underground fuel tank farm;
  3. Interior expansion and improvements to the existing lube room within the Pattison Base Maintenance Building. Work includes the removal of existing lube tank systems and replacement with new lube tanks, conveyance system and overhead crane;
  4. Decommissioning of existing in-ground fuel, coolant and lube tanks;
  5. Limited Right-of-Way (ROW) improvements on Pattison Street; and
  6. Other work as described in the Plans and specifications.

The Engineer’s Estimate is $­6,600,000 to $7,200,000.  Contract Documents and planholder’s list are available through Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc. at http://www.bxwa.com.

An optional pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 a.m., on March 10, 2017, in the Board Room at Intercity Transit, 526 Pattison SE, Olympia WA 98501.

Sealed bids are due no later than 1:00 p.m., (PT) on March 23, 2017.

This project is funded in part by a Federal Transit Administration Grant. All work performed for this project is subject to Federal funding requirements, including Federal and Washington State prevailing wage rates.
