Notice: RFP E00482E17 – Engineering Services for University CSO Green Stormwater Infrastructure
King County is currently requesting submittals for Engineering Services For University CSO Green Stormwater Infrastructure. This work is funded, in part, by United States Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) through the Washington State Water Pollution Control Program (Revolving Fund). In accordance with EPA’s policy on the utilization of socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and disadvantaged business enterprises in procurement, where subconsulting opportunities are available Geosyntec Consultants wishes to make good faith efforts to ensure to the fullest extent possible that it subcontracts with Minority= Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firms.
The applicable MBE/WBE Fair Share objectives/goals negotiated with EPA by the State of Washington Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises are 10% MBE and 6% WBE.

Geosyntec Consultants is looking to include MBE/WBE firms in our team, and the following areas represent supbconsulting opportunities that are available with this project: geotechnical engineering; hydrogeological engineering; environmental compliance; cultural resources; community involvement; permitting; sustainability, equity and social justice services; surveying and utility relocation services; cost estimating; and scheduling. Those firms offering services in other areas relative to the County’s scope of work are also encouraged to respond.
For the purposes of this section, EPA and King County will only accept any Minority Business Enterprise or Woman Business Enterprise that is certified by the State of Washington Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprises (“OMWBE”).
