If you alter the application in any way, do not answer all the application questions, or do not attach all the required documentation, your entire application packet, including the processing fee, will not be processed and will be returned to you.  (See Fee Schedule)

Procedure for reviewing Out of State applicants that Apply for DBE Certification and the DBE application processing fee of $25.00. Please scroll down to access the state application if you also want to apply for the Washington State program. Note: If you do this at the same time that you submit your request for DBE certification you will save $25.00.

The minority, woman, or socially and economically disadvantaged owner shall be responsible for ensuring that the form is complete and accurate and is properly delivered to the office. The applicant should keep a copy of the completed form and all documents submitted with the form for its own reference.

Applications and supporting documentation submitted to OMWBE for the state program are considered public records and subject to public disclosure (WAC 326-07). Any exemptions from public disclosure are found in chapter 42.56 RCW, the state’s Public Record Act. 

Applications and supporting documentation submitted to OMWBE for the DBE or ACDBE programs are non-disclosable without written consent from the firm (49 CFR Part 26.109(a) of Subpart F).
