Certification Benefits and Process
Federal and State certification programs are designed to help your business grow and access contracting opportunities. If you are a minority, woman, or person of social and economic disadvantage who owns and controls a business, attend this free certification workshop.
Topics include:
- Eligibility requirements for certification with the state Minority & Women's Business Enterprise Program (M/WBE)
- Eligibility requirements for the federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE)
- How certification can help your business
- Available financial assistance
- The steps involved in certifying your business as a M/WBE or DBE
