Foundations for Success: Session 21

Supply Chain Impacts on Design and Construction

This session teaches contractors how to identify and navigate high-risk clauses in public-sector agreements, such as indemnification, prevailing wage, and retainage. Participants will learn practical negotiation strategies and how to handle formal change orders and contract modifications.

Transitioning from Subcontractor to Prime Contractor

This course provides a structured roadmap for small businesses looking to take on the expanded financial, legal, and operational responsibilities of a prime contractor. Participants will assess their business's readiness, identify infrastructure gaps, and learn how to manage subcontractor compliance.

Foundations for Success is a structured training program designed to strengthen the core capabilities businesses need to compete and perform in public contracting. Participants will gain working knowledge in areas such as technology, marketing, contract compliance, change management, supply chain and operational discipline. The program is designed to strengthen internal processes, improve financial and administrative readiness, and reduce performance risk.
