The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is begining the two-step contract procurement process of the I-405, Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes project. WSDOT will hold an informational meeting for potential Submitters regarding the first step, Request for Qualifications, on Aug. 22, 2018.

The project involves road widening, interchange and bridge work. The project will require trucking and hauling, paving, demolition, landscaping, traffic control, and numerous other types of work. Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2019 and to take four or five years.

Minority, small, veteran and women’s business enterprise (MSVWBE) firms are invited to attend and network with the potential prime contractors for the project.
