REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES

Opportunity Council is requesting a Statement of Qualifications for general architectural and engineering services for a proposed 45-unit multi-family housing new construction project in Island County. The pre-design phase may include preparation of preliminary plans and developing cost estimates for applications through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Island County, and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and State Housing Trust Fund or any other sources of public funding.

The scope of services may include but not limited to the preliminary design, developing cost estimates, assistance with coordinating environmental studies, zoning approvals and assistance in the various funding applications. All work preformed on this project will be subject to the higher of the residential state prevailing or federal wage rates; must be in accordance with HUD’s development standards for site development work; all local codes and regulation requirements; and sound engineering and architectural practices to achieve compliance with public funding sources.
