Bid No. 18-0028 – Columbia Playfield Playground Safety Surfacing – Rebid

A Federally Funded CDBG Project

Bids Due: March 2, 2018, 2:00 p.m., EXACTLY, Pacific Local Time

Estimated Cost: $95,000 - $115,000

The City of Richland, Washington will receive sealed bids for ITB 18-0028, Columbia Playfield Playground Safety Surfacing Re-bid. Complete bid documents are available at www.publicpurchasecom. This project is funded in whole or in part with CDBG funds. Prevailing Wages, including Davis Bacon wages, certified payrolls and all other applicable federal regulations shall be in force and effect.

The project includes, but is not limited to:

Installation of poured-in-place playground safety surfacing within the concrete sidewalks as shown in the plans. The critical fall heights of the safety surfacing shall be 2,262 square feet at a height of 8’, 1,524 square feet for a height of 6’ and 1,410 square feet for a height of 2’.

 

Contractor shall furnish and install two-color option as shown in the plans.

  • Green 2,752 square feet
  • Yellow 2,444 square feet

The City shall provide all crushed rock base surfacing preparation to manufacturer’s recommendations.

 

Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
