INVITATION FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Port Townsend Mountain View Commons Improvement project will be received by the City Clerk, City of Port Townsend, until 3:00 PM local time, on the 28th of February, 2018, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids may be delivered to 250 Madison Street #2, Port Townsend, WA 98368 or mailed to, City Clerk, 250 Madison Street #2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.
This project consists of all labor, equipment, and materials for construction of the Port Townsend Mountain View Commons Improvements Project to make improvements to an existing single-story concrete classroom building (Building A), ADA door openers for the main entrances and pool locker rooms in the recreation building (Building B) and repaint the exteriors of Buildings A, B, C (YMCA modular).

Free of charge access is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to http://bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", "City of Port Townsend", and "Projects Bidding". Bidders are encouraged to register in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the self-registered "Bidders List". This on-line plan room provides bidders with fully usable on-line documents with the ability to download, print to your own printer, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources (on-line print order form), and a free on-line digitizer/take-off tool. Informational copies of the plans and specifications are on file for inspection in the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 250 Madison Street, Suite 2R, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Port Townsend, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.
Rejection of Bids: The City of Port Townsend reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bid opening. Further, the city shall have the right to reject all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid that is in any way incomplete or irregular.
