Ohno Construction invites your firm to submit a bid for the following project:

Big Rock Park Site B, Phase 1 Improvements

City of Sammamish

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project consists of improvements within the public right-of-way and within the City of Sammamish owned park parcel. Improvements include demolition, site grading, HMA parking lot, road pavement, traffic control, cement concrete sidewalk and trail, concrete curb and gutter, foundation for a pre-fabricated restroom building, construction of garden fencing, split rail fencing, chain link fencing, mulch trail, gravel trail, permanent signing, onsite sewage system and drainage improvements, franchise utility coordination, illumination and electrical system installation, channelization, deck and access ramps to existing historic Reard House and to existing tree house, coordination with restroom building contractor, other underground utilities, landscaping, irrigation, and associated work noted in these documents. Project is located at 801 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish, WA 98075. Engineers Estimate for the Base Bid is $1,700,000.00.

 

This is a prevailing wage project.

 

It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the " Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
 

Prebid Site inspection is scheduled for 2 different days: Pre-Bid Conference #1: February 11th, 2020; 10:00 a.m. and Pre-Bid Conference #2: February 19th, 2020; 1 :00 p.m.

 

RFI Deadline: Friday, February 21, 2020 @ noon.

 

BID DUE DATE & TIME: Tuesday February 25, 2020 @ 12:00 PM

Proposals may be emailed to estimating@ohnoconstruction.com or faxed to 206-324-8063. Quotes are required at least 2 hours prior to bid time. Proposals received after the Bid Due Date and Time will NOT be considered.

STANDARD REQUIREMENTS:

By submitting a proposal, the bidder acknowledges and agrees to all of the following terms: Proposer has carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/addenda and that, from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Ohno’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions, or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Ohno is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as an all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void. Break outs of any portion of work is permitted as long as specifically and conspicuously called out on proposal. Any and all bids may be rejected at the sole discretion of Ohno Construction. If selected, proposer is prepared to sign a subcontract with Ohno per Ohno’s standard subcontract agreement. A copy of Ohno’s standard subcontract agreement is available at its office locations or upon written request. Ohno Construction reserves the right to request that performance and payment bonds assuring subcontractor’s obligations to Ohno in the amount of 100 percent of the bid to Ohno. Ohno will reimburse the bond premium at actual cost not to exceed 2 percent. The surety must be a Washington admitted surety. Insurance must name Ohno, the project Owner and any other parties so designated as additionally insured and be in the types and amounts required by the specifications.
