NOTIFICATION OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received for the following project:
PROJECT NO. DNR 18-E06
C2000 MP8.0 ROAD REPAIR
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON
BID OPENING, 2:00 P.M., JUNE 28, 2018

Project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor, and equipment to
excavate existing roadway and slide debris, install temporary and permanent drainage features,
construct a geosythetic reinforced slope (GRS), place crushed rock surfacing, re-vegetate slopes
and disturbed areas, and install erosion control measures. Project also consists of screening and
crushing rock at the Snahapish Pit for the purpose of supplying crushed aggregate for project.

The estimated cost of the project is $194,500.00, and the required substantial
completion date is October 15, 2018.

The project is located at Milepost 8.0 on the C2000 in the Olympic Region, off US 101.

Drawings and Specifications will be placed on the Builders Exchange website
(http://bxwa.com →Posted Projects → Public Works→ Washington Dept. of Natural
Resources → Projects Bidding→ I Agree) on June 4, 2018, and hard copies will be
available for pick up at the Dept. of Natural Resources, Engineering Division by

will be available at the pre-bid conference.

The State reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive
informalities. To do this work, the contractor must have adequate insurance to hold the
State harmless, pay state prevailing wage rates, and have a Washington State
Contractor's License.

A PREBID CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 19, 2018 AT 10:00 A.M.

Prebid Location: Longitude -122.046°, Latitude 47.738°

Prebid Directions: Access project from the HOH/Clearwater Mainline. Follow the signs
from US 101 for the Olympic Corrections Center from either the south or north routes on the
HOH/Clearwater Mainline. From the south, travel approximately 16 miles from the turn off with US101
to the Junction of the C2000 (MP 12.8). From the north turn off on the HOH Mainline, travel
approximately 12.8 miles (go past the Correction Center). At the junction, turn on to the C2000 road
and travel approximately 8.0 miles to the project site. The road is blocked at this location.
