DERIAN/PEASE & SONS, A JOINT VENTURE

Derian, Inc. and Pease & Sons, Inc. have joined forces to form Derian/Pease & Sons, a Joint Venture. Derian/Pease & Sons, a Joint Venture, is submitting a proposal for the FY19 JBLM Aircraft Engine Test and Evaluation Facility project.

Project Description:
The work includes construction of an aviation engine facility with two engine test stands, engine assembly area, control rooms, and optional administrative/breakroom area. This facility will include information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connections. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) and Energy Policy Act 2005 (EPAct 2005) features will be provided. Supporting facilities site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm water retention, information systems, landscaping, and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained systems. Comprehensive building and furnishings related to interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Air Conditioning systems are not authorized at this installation except for telecommunication and computer equipment areas. Information Systems will be installed.

Estimated Value: $3 - $6 million

Contract Duration: 365 calendar days

Wage Requirements: This project is subject to federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Certified payroll will be required.

Pricing Requirements:
• Base Item 0001: All work for the Aircraft Engine Test & Eval Facility and all associated site work w/in 5-ft of bldg
• Base Item 0002: All work for the Aircraft Engine Test & Eval Facility site prep including demo and construction of site work, site utilities and all other improvements from the construction limits to 5-ft from bldg.
• Option Items 0003 thru 0005: These are pre-defined, pre-populated items (e.g. as-built dwgs, O&M manuals, etc.)
• Option Item 0006: All work for addition of Admin/Break Room space
• Option Item 0007: All work for the exterior concrete wainscot at the Test Facility spaces
• Option Item 0008: All work for the exterior concrete wainscot at the Admin/Break Room space

**This project is subject to Buy American requirements.**

**This project is located on JBLM and is therefore subject to Use Tax on your materials.**
