Project Description: This contract provides improvement of I-5/Mercer to SR 520/Portage Bay Interchange, by rebuilding portions of the five existing ramps, adding a new reversible HOV ramp, widening and adding an auxiliary lane on the I-5 Express Lanes. The project includes existing retaining wall demolition, 23 new retaining walls, 3-span steel girder bridge, earthwork, HMA & cement concrete paving, barriers, drainage, illumination, ITS, sign bridges, pavement marking, landscaping, temporary erosion & pollution control, minor utilities, traffic control.
