Kennydale Reservoir Site Access Utilities

Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the City Clerk's office, 7^th floor and will be opened and publicly read in conference room 511 Tuesday, October 2, 2018 on the 5th floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton WA 98057.

The work to be performed within 30 working days from the date of commencement under this contract shall include, but not be limited to:

• Installation of approximately 500 feet of 16-inch diameter Class 52 ductile iron and approximately 260 feet of 12-inch diameter Class 52 ductile iron, restrained-joint water main pipes with polywrap, including fittings, 3-12-inch gate valves, 1 fire hydrant and related appurtenances.
• Installation of approximately 200 feet of 12-inch diameter Class 52 ductile iron storm drain pipe.
• Trench excavation, including removal of existing unsuitable material, stockpiling and disposal of excavated material and protection of existing utilities.
• Testing, cleaning of new water mains with foam poly-pigs, disinfecting and flushing of water mains and connecting to and existing Watermain.
• Removing and replacement of asphalt concrete pavement, concrete curbs, gutters and driveways.
• Installation of quarry spalls within a private access tract.
• Construction surveying, staking and as-built
• Traffic control and installing and maintaining adequate temporary erosion and sedimentation control measures and restoring all disturbed areas.

The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all informalities.

A certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of each bid must accompany each bid.
