Project Description:  The Project will be a combination of replacing and updating rooftop mechanical systems and mechanical ductwork throughout the science classroom area. Revise sprinkler layouts to suit the new ducts, and ceilings. Provide new light fixtures throughout the wing as indicated, and remove abandoned electrical work above the existing ceiling level. Modify existing mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate new work. Frame and enclose an existing exterior covered walkway, update the remaining (5) Science Classroom interior finishes, and re-roof the science wing. Time is of the essence; begin work as described in the Contract Documents. Critical Work to include establishing Schedule of Values, Contractor’s Construction Schedule and Submittal Procedures to insure procurement of any long lead items. School District will provide Air Handling Units. Contractor to schedule delivery of units to site and install units. Site verifying of existing systems is allowed, schedule accordingly, school is in session and may not be disturbed. No construction activities shall occur prior to June 25, 2019, unless changed by Owner.
