LOWER GREEN MOUNTAIN RESERVOIR AND BOOSTER PUMP STATION

ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $955,000

 

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Kalama, 195 North First Street, Kalama, Washington  98625, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Lower Green Mountain Reservoir and Booster Pump Station.  

 

The work associated with the construction of the Lower Green Mountain Booster Station and Reservoir includes demolition of the existing steel reservoir, installation of a new concrete reservoir and booster station, including CMU building associated pumps, piping, valves, and appurtenance, site electrical, telemetry and controls, and site grading and restoration, as shown on the Plans.

 

The Work shall be substantially complete within 110 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Kalama, Washington.

 

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Kalamaand in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates.

General contractors and all subcontractors must meet DWSRF requirements or provisions.

Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Kalama, Washington and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency.  The City of Kalama expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
