Notice is hereby given that sealed statements of proposal will be received by Whatcom County Purchasing at its Office in the Administrative Services Finance Department located on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

MOUNTABLE MEDIANS WITH REFLECTIVE CHANNELIZATION DEVICES, CRP NO. 918014

UNTIL: 2:30 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019

At which time and place the responses will be publicly opened, and the names of the submitters identified. All interested people are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities.

Whatcom County is soliciting statements of proposal from firms interested in providing supplies for mountable medians with reflective channelization devices, as further described in the RFP document.

Please be advised that prospective suppliers will be held to federal EEO requirements, ADA requirements, and civil rights language by Whatcom County. Whatcom County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all suppliers that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
