The Omak Municipal Airport is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing “as needed” Airport Engineering Consultant services for various other Federal and State projects, funded by Federal Airport Improvement Program grants, WSDOT Aviation grants, and local funds, for a five-year period. Upon reviewing the SOQs, the Omak Municipal Airport may interview the top-ranked firms before making a final selection or may select a firm based on the submittal alone.

Services to be provided include, but are not limited to, design, programming, preliminary plans, cultural, environmental, specifications, contract documents, cost estimates and field engineering.  This Includes resident engineering of construction work, periodic updates to the Airport Layout Plan documents as required based on project improvement. Environmental Services as needed for design and construction and required, incidental services.

The selection process will be following Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E, Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects. Fees will be negotiated for projects on a task order basis as funding is obtained. Cost or fee information is not to be submitted with SOQs.

The City of Omak following Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat, 252,42 USC 200d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part, 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued under such Act Now notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into under this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise as defined by 49 CFR Part 26, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.

Statements of Qualifications will be received at the Omak City Hall, 2 North Ash Street or P.O. Box 72 Omak WA, 98841, until 3:00 p.m., local time May 12, 2021. Any SOQs received after this time will be considered non-responsive. Qualifications will be evaluated only from those Consultants that meet the minimum criteria outlined in the Request for Qualifications document available on request from the contact information below.
