Invitation to Bid for

P21017: On-Call Street Light Maintenance

 

The City of Ridgefield is seeking bids from highly qualified contractors to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials for the improvement of street light repairs and installation and other work to approximately 1900 lights all in accordance with these Contract Provisions and the attached Special Provisions. This pertains to all metered and unmetered luminaries that are within the City limits, owned and maintained by the City.  This includes all cobra head, acorn and Sheppard’s crook and pathway luminaires.

 

Bid packages may be picked up at J2 Blue Print Supply Co, located at 8100 NE St. Johns Road, Suite B101, Vancouver, Washington. The City of Ridgefield places great importance on the integrity and accuracy of the official plan holders list. Therefore, each bidder will be required to register at the following email address: Bid@j2b.com.  Once registered, bidders will receive a username login, password and download rights. Users may then download bid documents from the J2 plan center. Users will be notified by email containing a link which will provide all project updates and addenda. No other plan centers are authorized to disseminate bid packages. The fees for obtaining a bid package are non-refundable. Registration as a plan holder is included with the purchase of a bid package, and is required to obtain Contract Addenda.

 

All project specific questions, requests for substitutions, or requests for clarification must be sent to Julia Denton, Procurement Specialist, via email to Bids@ci.ridgefield.wa.us and be received by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021  Incomplete or late inquiries may not be considered. 

 

Sealed bids must be received by the City no later than 2:00 PM (Pacific Time) Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Submissions received after the specified time will not be accepted. The City of Ridgefield is not responsible for delays in delivery. Official delivery time shall be documented by City affixed time/date stamp.

 

Bids must be delivered via mail or hand delivery to: Attn: Julia Denton, Procurement Specialist, City of Ridgefield, 230 Pioneer Street City Hall, PO Box 608, Ridgefield, WA 98642. Bid shall be in a sealed envelope, and clearly marked “P21017: On-Call Street Light Maintenance”. Bids received by fax or E-mail will not be accepted.
