THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF TACOMA Request For Qualifications for Architectural & Engineering Services South End Community Center Feasibility Study RFQ# J2026-15 The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma (Parks Tacoma) is soliciting Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications from multi-disciplinary teams with experience in the analysis of program and recreational drivers; urban design and planning, exploration and documentation of site, neighborhood, historical and cultural context; evaluation of zoning and code compliance; partnership, programming, and sizing analysis to comprise a comprehensive community center study. To advance the planning for a potential South End community center, this study will analyze potential sites to develop a preferred site and conceptual designs, program plan, partnership analysis, sizing analysis, project funding plan, and operational pro-forma business plan to inform future decisions and capital facility planning. Submission of Statements of Qualification (SOQ) to Parks Tacoma are due by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
