Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services

 

The Town of Cusick, Washington is requesting qualified engineers submit qualifications to provide planning, design and construction engineering services for the Town’s water system. Projects may include rehabilitation or replacement of the existing surface water treatment plant, distribution system replacement, and water storage facilities. 

 

Consultant selection will be based upon the following criteria: 1) firm experience with planning, design, construction/rehabilitation, and operation of surface water treatment plants; 2) firm experience with assessment and replacement of water distribution piping and components; 3) project understanding and approach; 4) proposed consultant team; 5) past performance/references; 6) familiarity with the Cusick area. Interviews may be held at the Town's discretion.

Three copies of the statement of qualifications, not exceeding 20 total pages, shall be submitted to the Town of Cusick, PO Box 263, 111 – 1st St., Cusick, Washington 99119 by Wednesday, March 18, 2020, no later than 5:00 p.m. (local time).

 

Projects may be partially funded by federal and state programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program with federal funds provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, USDA-Rural Development, the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program (DWSRF), and the Washington State Public Works Board. As a result, a number of state and federal equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements will apply to this selection process and the Town’s projects. The Town of Cusick reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal evaluation process. This solicitation does not bind the Town of Cusick to pay any costs incurred by the respondents in the preparation of the submittals.
