REQUEST FOR BID PROPOSALS: RFP 527-269 WA State Parks Property Appraisals

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (State Parks) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to develop a pool of state certified or licensed general property appraisers for inclusion in the State Parks List of Approved Appraisers. State Parks manages and maintains over 125 individual parks and properties totaling 129,834 acres, and manages and maintains 8,224 miles of trails. Appraisal services are required for a variety of purposes, including fee-simple acquisitions, or less than fee, such as, lease, transfer, and impressment of easements.  Work is to be performed on a project-by-project basis.

EXPECTED TIME PERIOD FOR CONTRACT: The initial period of performance of any contract(s) resulting from this RFP is anticipated to be twenty-four (24) months.

AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS: The RFP, including any amendments, will be available through WEBS Bid Opportunities, which is Washington's Electronic Business Solution. Bidders are responsible for registering properly in the WEBS system and downloading the RFP document and all appendices and incorporated documents related to this RFP. Copies of this RFP will also be available to bidders through https://parks.wa.gov/about/contact-us/contracting-opportunities/state-purchasing and may be used at the bidder's discretion. Notification of any RFP addenda, amendments or bidder’s questions and answers will only be provided to bidders who have registered with WEBS and have downloaded the RFP from WEBS. Failure to do so may result in a bidder having incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise inadequate information.
