Project Description:
Modernization to the existing Sacajawea Elementary School. It is comprised of two interconnected buildings - Bldg A: East Classrooms Wing and Bldg B: West Commons/Fitness Wing. The modernization of the school will include the modernization of the existing 41,500 sqft classroom wing, the modernization of the 9,700 sqft of existing Commons/Fitness wing. The renovated spaces in Classroom wing will include ADA upgrade and sound isolation of existing restrooms, and upgrades to building envelope. The renovated spaces in existing Commons/Fitness wing will include an Art/Dance classroom, Staff Lounge, Restrooms, Kitchen, and Commons spaces. The new construction of a Fitness Area and Storage spaces in Commons/Fitness wing that will be approximately 5,500 sqft.

Estimated Value: $2.4 – 4 million

Contract Duration:
• NTP approx: 10/14/19
• Subst completion: 7/21/20
• Final completion: 8/21/20

Pricing Requirements:
There is one (1) BASE BID and three (3) ALTERNATES. Your firm's scope of work may fall within several different bid items.
• Base Bid
• Alternate 1: Add additional storefront windows in classroom wing
• Alternate 2: Revise membrane roofing system from KEE to TPO
• Alternate 3: Revise fiber cement siding to Hardie panel siding
