The City of Renton – Parks and Recreation Department, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified interdisciplinary consultant teams to provide professional services for the Sam Chastain Trail Project: Cost and Feasibility Study Services. The project area is located along the southern shoreline of Lake Washington, near the confluence of the Cedar River and Lake Washington. 

The vision for a completed Sam Chastain Trail is a continuous, multi-modal trail connection along the southern shoreline of Lake Washington, linking Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park to the northern terminus of the Cedar River Trail at Cedar River Trail Park. To initiate the project and advance the vision, the City seeks to conduct a comprehensive cost and feasibility assessment prior to proceeding with full design, permitting, and construction.
