INVITATION TO BID

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Sealed bids will be received by Skagit Transit at Skagit Station, located at 105 E. Kincaid Street, Mount Vernon WA 98273 until 2:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2020, for the single General Contract which includes General, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and other work for the Skagit Transit Maintenance Operations and Administration Facility as indicated on Drawings. Project estimate range is $2,880,000 to $2,990,000. Bids received after the time fixed above for receiving bids cannot be considered.

FTA is providing Federal assistance for the Project. FTA 5339 CFDA 20.526 @ $1,549,917 and FTA 5307 CFDA 20.507 @ $1,764,771.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS: Bidding Documents are those prepared by TCF Architecture, PLLC, 902 N 2nd Street, Tacoma, WA 98403; (253) 572-3993, and available from the reprographics vendor, ARC, located at 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402; (253) 383-6363. Beginning on or about Monday March 9, 2020, General Contractors may purchase up to two sets and mechanical or electrical contractors one set of documents with the deposit of a refundable check in the amount of $300.00 made out to Skagit Transit for each set; or they may purchase sets or partial sets from the reprographics vendor directly. The Owner and Architect will not have sets for bidder viewing. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List".
