PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) is requesting a Request for Qualifications and Proposed Approach (RFQ/PA) from experienced proposers to provide Heavy Civil General Contractor/Construction Manager (HC GC/CM) Services for the construction of the W200 Duwamish River Crossing & Aerial Gateway (“Project”). This Project consists of the construction of a cable stayed bridge spanning the west navigable channel of the Duwamish River, long span and regular span elevated guideway installations through the dense, highly industrial SODO neighborhood, and retained cut guideway installation at an environmentally critical steep slope area within proximity to the existing West Seattle Bridge. The Project is generally located in Seattle, WA between the SODO area and the future Delridge Station. Full notice and the RFQ/PA documents can be viewed at http://vendorportal.soundtransit.org.
MAJOR SUBCONSULTING/SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES: The following subcontracting opportunities are provided for the Bidder’s reference and are not inclusive of all subcontracting opportunities that may be available: Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction, Site Preparation Contractors, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors, Engineering Services, and Environmental Consulting Services.
FUNDING NOTICE: Any contract(s) resulting from this solicitation may be financed by a combination of federal and state funds, including funds from the Federal Transit Administration. Financial assistance by the Federal Transit Administration may be between zero and eighty percent (0-80%).
