Ballard Marine Construction, as a prime contractor, is submitting a bid for the Terminal 46 Dock Rehabilitation and Improvement Project. Ballard is requesting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, including DBE firms, for the following:

Subcontracting Opportunities: Crack Injection, Small repair, Trucking, Disposal, Asphalt Paving, and Sawcutting.

Supply Opportunities: Untreated lumber & hardware, Aggregate and grout, Rental equipment and maintenance.

This job bids December 19th at 2:00pm. All quotes are due by December 18th at 5:00pm.

Project Description:

The Work includes Rehabilitation of the Terminal 46 concrete wharf that includes existing concrete pile caps and existing concrete deck panels. The rehabilitation includes but not limited to the following:

1. Providing under dock access via scaffolding, floats, or other approved means.

2. Patching existing concrete spalls.

3. Epoxy injecting existing concrete cracks.

4. Removing significant portions of concrete, checking and making repairs to corroded reinforcement and recasting concrete.

5. Applying a corrosion inhibiting concrete sealant to the existing structure and deck panels.

6. Adding an HDPE drip edge to existing deck drains.
