WILDWOOD WTP IMPROVEMENTS

ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $1,542,000 BASE BID

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Boistfort Valley Water, 442 Curtis Hill Road, Chehalis, Washington 98532, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Wildwood WTP Improvements.

The Work associated with the construction of the Wildwood WTP Improvements provides for the for furnishing and installing a second filter, piping, valves and control valves, associated electrical, instrumentation and controls, and modifications to the access platforms and stairs around the filter.  Work also includes replacing existing control valves on Filter 1.  If adequate funds are available, the work will also include modifications of Filter 1 including replacement of clarifier.  Media, filter media, screens, nozzles, manifold and repair painting.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 200 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Business Manager, Boistfort Valley Water, Chehalis, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “Boistfort Valley Water” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates.

A Prebid Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026.  The conference will begin at the Wildwood WTP, 2237 Wildwood Road, Curtis, WA  98538, Washington at 10:00 a.m. (local time).  Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate.  No unauthorized visits or unscheduled visits will be allowed.

This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency and Boistfort Valley Water.  The Boistfort Valley Water expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
