REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL YOUTH VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAMS

Pierce County Human Services is soliciting applications for Youth Violence Prevention programs. Funding for this grant is obtained exclusively from taxes generated in unincorporated Pierce County for criminal justices’ purposes. Accordingly, the objective for using these funds must be on the prevention or elimination of violent behavior in, among, or toward children and youth. The beneficiaries of this grant must principally be youth who reside in unincorporated Pierce County.

The Department will hold one application workshop on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to answer questions at the Human Services, 1305 Tacoma Avenue South, Suite 104, Tacoma, WA 98402, Conference Room C. Workshop attendance is highly encouraged for all applicants.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted and available online on Friday, February 2, 2018 at http://www.piercecountywa.org/2779/Solicitations-and-Competitive-Bids The deadline to submit applications is no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018.
