Kitsap Transit has recently opened a contract opportunity KT 26-044 – Unit Price Marine and Vessel Welding Services.

Kitsap Transit is seeking to contract with a qualified contractor to complete as needed marine/vessel welding repair and emergency service under a unit price contract. Contractor shall meet the requirements of section IX of the ASME code and have USCG endorsement for welding of aluminum vessel structure. Contractor shall be able to weld materials such as, but not limited to, stainless steel, aluminum, copper nickel, and carbon steel. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment. Kitsap Transit marine facilities are equipped with 50amps and 100amps, depending on the facility.
