NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

Central Shop Re-Roof Project

Bellingham, Washington

UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021

At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (live/virtual via GoToMeeting), and read aloud. All Bidders and any other interested people are invited to attend the live bid opening via GoToMeeting, as more completely described herein. Late submittals will not be considered.

Whatcom County AS-Facilities Management is requesting bids for the roof replacement project at the Whatcom County Central Shop, located at 901 W. Smith Rd, Bellingham, Washington. This project includes installation of a new Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof, and insulation, directly over the existing metal roof, and other work as further described in the bid documents.

Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities.

The following is applicable to non-federal aid projects in the County of Whatcom, State of Washington. Whatcom County notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status, and all other protected classes in the law, in consideration for an award. As required by law, the E-Verify System may be required.
