Madison Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)

Owner:  Seattle DOT

 

DBE Participation Goal: 4%

Apprenticeship Utilization: 15%

Bid Date: June 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM PT

Project Description: Construct infrastructure for a Bus Rapid Transit network from 1st Ave to Martin Luther King Jr via Madison Street and Spring Street.   Base bid work includes earthwork, pavement and sidewalk removal/restoration, construction of new stations, ADA ramps, driveway, signing, channelization, overhead trolley system pole removal and installation, traffic signals, lighting, construction of restroom comfort station, landscaping, water main and water service reconnection and renewal, SCL underground ductbank and vault work, sewer main and side sewer reconnections, storm drainage, and other project elements. Additive work includes earthwork, pavement and sidewalk removal/restoration, driveways, storm drainage, water main and landscaping.

 

Subcontract/Supplier Opportunities Include (But Not Limited to): Electrical/OCS/ITS, Traffic Control, Landscaping, Rebar, Concrete Paving, Flatwork, HMA Paving, Signage, Trucking, Concrete Materials, Aggregate, Building Materials and furnishings – Roofing, Painting, Drywall, Plumbing, HVAC.
