PROJECT NAME: Norton Terminal Development & MTCA 3rd Interim Action

PROJECT NO.: MT-NT-2021-02.2

ESTIMATED COST: $27,300,000 - $30,100,000 (Incl. WSST)

BIDS DUE: July 27, 2021 at 2:00PM

PRE-BID MEETING: July 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM, located at the Port of Everett office, 1205 Craftsman Way, Blue Heron Room, Everett, WA 98201. A site visit will immediately follow.

 

Public notice is hereby given that the Port of Everett has issued a Request for Bids for the above-named project, with sealed bids due no later than the date and time given above.

 

Construction includes, but is not limited to, mobilization/demobilization, demolition/site preparation, storm drainage collection and stormwater treatment systems, water distribution and fire protection, sanitary sewer, electrical and communication systems, site lighting, filling/grading, removal of crushed gravel preload previously placed by others and spread around site for pavement base, asphalt paving, striping, security fencing, gates, miscellaneous small building structures, and landscaping, and all other work required for a complete and operable facility.

 

This project contains funding from USDOT’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) BUILD Grant and is subject to the federal terms and conditions listed in the plans and specifications.

 

By way of this paragraph, bidders are notified that the project site is located adjacent to and/or within two MTCA sites (Kimberly-Clark Worldwide Site and Exxon/Mobil Site) as established by the Department of Ecology Toxics Group. Both sites are under a formal MTCA Cleanup Agreed Orders.

Note: The Port has moved to a new e-Procurement platform; Bonfire. Contractors will need to register with Bonfire (free of charge) to download the documents. All bids must be submitted using the Bonfire platform.
