Bogachiel Way Overlay

The project consists of undertaking an overlay and sub-grade repair of Bogachiel Way. The scope of work includes the reconstruction of certain sections of the existing roadway, shaping, and paving the entire width of the roadway, approximately [+/-] 30 feet, for a distance of 2,000 linear feet. The project will begin at the intersection of Bogachiel Way and 6th Avenue and conclude at the intersection of Bogachiel Way and Russell Road. In addition to the roadway improvement, temporary erosion control measures, permanent pavement markings, traffic control, and other activities will be performed, all of which are described in detail in the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and Standard Specifications, which are attached to this Contract.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Bid Submittal: Sealed bids will be received by the City of Forks in person at Forks City Hall, 500 E Division St., Forks, WA 98331 or by mail to 500 E Division St., Forks, WA 98331 mailed bids must be received prior to bid opening.

The Bid Form will be received up to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the date and hour above stated will not receive consideration.

Prospective bidders can view specifications for free through the QUESTCDN online plan center via the link at Jackson Civil Engineering - Projects (questcdn.com). There is a $22.00 non-refundable fee to download a full set of contract documents in pdf format. Bidders should contact QUESTCDN at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com if unable to join or access the documents online.

QUESTCDN is a web-based platform for construction project advertisements, bid documents distribution and plan holder lists. Prospective bidders will need to join QUESTCDN to purchase and download the contract documents. QUESTCDN offers several membership levels and a “REGULAR” membership is free. If prospective bidders access the project directly from the QUESTCDN website, a seven-digit QUESTCDN project number 9074728 will be needed to locate the job on the QUESTCDN website search page.

Interested parties may view the bidding documents at no cost prior to deciding to become a plan holder. Rejection of Bids: The City of Forks will have the right to reject any and all bids and in particular to reject a bid received after the deadline for bids due or bids that are not accompanied by the required Bid Security or Non-Collusion Affidavit or a bid in any way incomplete or non-responsive to the bid package.
