The City of Bremerton is seeking proposals from attorneys and firms that can provide effective counsel to indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor crimes in City of Bremerton Municipal Court. From the submissions, the City will compile a pool of Public Defenders to provide legal defense services to indigent defendants whenever the Public Defender has a conflict or is not able to accept the case. The City invites interested attorneys or firms with misdemeanor and criminal court experience to provide Public Defense Attorney services. The City’s needs are outlined in the  Request for Proposal (“RFP”). The City expects multiple awards from this RFP and may award to qualified respondents prior to the closing date.
