The State of Washington’s Department of Social & Health Services’ Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is seeking qualified organizations to participate in the solicitation #2134-793: Peer Mentor Services.

This competitive solicitation is issued in order to assist the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in seeking a qualified contractor to manage all aspects of a Peer Mentor Services program. This program will provide support and person-centered guidance to Clients receiving services in the State’s Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). The ICF/IID are located at Lakeland Village in Medical Lake, Rainier School in Buckley, and Fircrest School in Shoreline. These Peer Mentor Services include the administration and oversight of activities provided to a DDA Client who resides at an ICF/IID who is interested in learning more about community-based services. Peer Mentor Services encompasses the body of work performed to assist the Client in the decision-making and transition process. DDA is paying particular attention to the importance of meeting each Client’s needs through person-centered service delivery.
