BOOST Construction Mgmt Accelerator Program Starts - Seattle

This notice is for the whole series. It begins March 5th. See below to learn more and click on the link to register.

The BOOST program is designed for Washington and Oregon state-certified MWBE firms by providing coaching and a better understanding of how to be successful working on construction projects with large Prime Contractors. It includes essential training from Skanska leadership on topics identified as challenges for many Washington and Oregon state-certified contractors. These include bidding, contracting requirements, safety and the PlanIt program, accounting tips, and other useful tools. Participants will find the format to include lecture, group discussions, and hands-on demonstrations with proven business practices.

The BOOST program is scheduled to meet once per week for 10 sessions. The coaching sessions will be from 4-6:30pm starting March 5th through May 8th, except for March 20th and April 17th which will be 5-7:30pm. The classes will be held at (3) different Kaiser Permanente Building's in Renton WA. The days of the week will vary from week to week. See attached schedule for the tentative sessions.

An additional benefit to the program is the opportunity to network and build relationships with other contractors, Skanska leadership, and Kaiser Representatives. Participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the program (100 percent attendance is highly encouraged, however you may miss one session and still receive your completion certificate). If you are unable to commit to the full program, please wait for another session.

There is no cost to class participants. Food will be provided. You may bring one +1. Seating is limited. Registration can be found here. A survey will follow to request certification information and dietary restrictions:
