DEVELOPING INDIRECT COST RATES

WHAT:

Carmelle Palomino, of Marescot Palomino & Associates PLLC, presents a hands-on approach for DBEs to understand:

  • Cost accounting; and
  • Identifying and segregating accounts to create an indirect cost rate.

Carmelle Palomino started her career in public accounting and throughout the years has gained extensive experience in internal audit and managerial accounting.  She has worked for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses.  More recently, she has worked with numerous DBE firms and has provided various services ranging from accounting consultation, to understanding the development of an indirect cost rate and the impact of FAR 31 on a firm's accounting record keeping system.  Carmelle holds a degree in accounting and has been a licensed CPA since 1990.  She is licensed in the state of New York and Washington.
