Fast Track MBE & DBE Certification In-Person Training

Local Pierce County businesses are encouragedto participate in a "Fast Track Certification"Training for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)Certifications.

The Economic Development Board for Tacoma-PierceCounty (EDB), in partnership with the WashingtonMinority Business Development Agency Center (WAMBDA) and the Office of Minority and Women's BusinessEnterprise, is hosting a "Fast Track Certification" Trainingto help businesses recover and rebound from the effectsof the pandemic.

This is a great opportunity for local businesses to increasetheir competitive advantage and vie for new contractingopportunities for certified businesses with federal, state,and local governments.

Businesses will receive:

• In-person training and overview about thecertification process
• Tips on how to successfully complete an application
• Access to a computer lab during the training session
• 1-on-1 support and ongoing follow-up from staff

9:00am - 12:00pm
2:00pm - 5:00pm
