How to do Business with US Army Corps of Engineers

This week we are pleased to welcome Enshane Nomoto from the office of Small Business Programs at US Army Corps of Engineers. She began her federal career in 2009 as an Air Force Copper Cap Acquisition Program intern at Wright-Patterson AFB, where she supported Air Force Materiel Command systems and specialized acquisition. She subsequently served as a contracting team lead for military base operations at Eielson AFB, Alaska, within the medical services acquisition branch at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VISN 20) and in the hatcheries program at USACE Portland District.

Throughout her career, Enshané has been dedicated to advancing the opportunities of underrepresented vendor communities participating in the challenging world of federal contracts. She feels that her current role is the culmination of prior her years as an instructor a small business owner and as a federal acquisition professional.

We will learn how USACE finds contractors - particularly those with socioeconomic certifications - for disaster and standard opportunities. This webinar is part of a series, "Contracting in Times of Disasters", that my colleague and I are hosting. Remember, once a disaster strikes, it's too late to get noticed.

Enshane’ holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University, School of International Service and a M.S. in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business.

We look forward to seeing you Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
