IBR Economic Opportunities Listening Session

IBR Economic Opportunity Listening Session

This Economic Opportunities listening session will be co-hosted by Soul District Business Association (SDBA), Partners in Careers (PIC), and the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program (IBR). Community members are invited to share their perspectives on strategies IBR can implement for meaningful engagement leading up to and during the release of the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS).

No prior knowledge of IBR or DSEIS is required. Community participants will be given an overview of IBR, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), DSEIS, IBR’s Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA), proposed investments, IBR’s advisory body structure, ways IBR is seeking public input on and how you can provide public comment once the DSEIS is released.

In an effort to center equity, a $35 gift card will be provided to listening session participants who identify with at least one equity priority community and have not already been paid to participate. Seating is limited, and priority will be given to equity priority community members. This event is in person. After you RSVP and if you are selected, you will receive a separate email with location details and meeting materials. All gift cards will be electronic and distributed within a week of participation.
