PTAC/APEX Accelerators provide no cost technical assistance to educate businesses on how to prepare for, find, bid, and perform on government contracts. PTAC Counselor Cara Buckingham works with businesses in from Whatcom, Skagit, Island and Snohomish Counties.

WWU’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides business advising services to Whatcom and Kitsap Counties small business owners and early entrepreneurs at no cost to the client.  SBDC Certified Business Advisors provide confidential guidance on a wide range of topics, such as getting started, seeking capital funding, marketing, buying or selling a business, and overall business management.
