Port Construction Opportunity - Info Session

The Port of Seattle is conducting an information session to interested contractors to present the draft scope and requirements associated with the future Fisherman’s Terminal: Maritime Innovation Center project. This project is estimated to be $10M-20M and will have a 12% WMBE aspirational goal. A number of primes have expressed interest in the project and this information session is a great opportunity for you to meet them and use as an opening to reach out afterwards to discuss teaming.

Project Description

The Port plans to advertise a contract in Q3 2023 (late summer 2023). This project includes a complete renovation of existing Seattle Ship Supply Building at Fishermen’s Terminal to house the approximately 15,000 square feet Maritime Innovation Center: a home port business incubator to support the work of the Maritime Blue Accelerator, in formal partnership with the State of Washington’s Department of Commerce. The redevelopment of the former Seattle Ship Supply building will preserve the existing timber structural framework and is designed to achieve the highest level of sustainable design and construction through earning a Living Building Challenge certification. Fishermen's Terminal Site Improvements are also included.

One-on-one Meeting

Following the informational meeting, the Port will conduct individual one-on-one meetings with interested Contractors. This would be an opportunity for contractors to express/provide concerns or recommendations regarding the scope and project requirements with Port staff. Feedback provided by the Contractors may be incorporated into the advertised project documents.

Registration for individual one-on-one meetings: Contact Beth Sisk, Contract Administrator, at 206-787-4760 to reserve a session. Registration deadline is May 12, 2023, 3:00 PM. One-on-one meetings will be held May 15 through 19, 2023.
