Public Hearing - Sound Transit Disparity Study - Seattle

SOUND TRANSIT INVITES COMMENT ON HOW TO IMPROVE CONTRACTING WITH DIVERSE BUSINESSES

Sound Transit anticipates spending more on its future projects than any other local public agency and desires for diverse businesses to receive their fair share.

The agency contracted with diverse business experts, Griffin & Strong, P.C. to conduct a Disparity Study to analyze its spending and provide guidance on future spending opportunities with Minority, Women (“M/WBE”) and other Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (“DBE”).

Businesses across the Puget Sound region are invited to comment about their experiences seeking contract opportunities both with Sound Transit and within the Puget Sound region.

Register via Eventbrite using this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sound-transit-disparity-study-public-hearin...
Registration is encouraged but not required for participation.

For questions or concerns, contact the Griffin & Strong Deputy Project Manager, Sterling Johnson, at SoundTransitStudy@gspclaw.com or
(678) 364-2962 ext. 104. For information about the study, visit SoundTransitDisparityStudy.com

Please note that Hearings are presided over by Griffin & Strong, P.C., not Sound Transit. All commentary provided during the Hearing will be recorded, become a part of the public record, and may potentially be used as evidence for the 2019 Disparity Study. Outside of asking follow up for clarity, neither GSPC or Sound Transit will be responding to questions, only accepting commentary.
