Skanska Seattle Construction Management Building Blocks (CMBB)

The Skanska Seattle CMBB program is scheduled to meet twice per week for 10 sessions and 5 weeks. The coaching sessions will be from 4:00PM until 6:00PM starting April 26th through May 26th. Classes will be held virtually through Zoom. Attendees are women owned, diverse and small businesses, vendors and suppliers. We will also host (2) happy hour events through this class session to promote in-person networking with Skanska management and participants of CMBB.

The goal of the program is to provide coaching and a better understanding of how to be successful on construction projects with large prime contractors. Course material will be presented by internal and external Skanska subject experts from our Seattle office. Topics include diverse certification basics, sustainability, bidding, insurance, prequalification, scheduling, billing, safety, and closeout.

Participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the program (100 percent attendance is highly encouraged, however you may miss two sessions and still receive your completion certificate). If you are unable to commit to the full program, please wait for another session.

There is no cost to class participants. While the instructors presenting are primarily from the Seattle office, attendees from across the country are welcome.

Thank you and please reach out to our Vendor Diversity Manager Rachael Pease or Project Manager Courtney Goldstein if you have any questions at rachael.pease@skanska.com and courtney.goldstein@skanska.com.
