Sound Transit and UW Mobile App Workshop - Seattle

The Office of Small Business Development and Labor Compliance

Sound Transit and University of Washington Mobile App Workshop

The workshop will provide disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) and small businesses with an overview of mobile applications to improve business agility and efficiencies. Applications will focus on reducing cost through paper elimination, streamline document sharing, customer relationship management and engagement in social collaboration.

The workshop will include select University of Washington students trained to explain and implement the applications. Students will work in small groups with participants to demonstrate
and explain functions of each application and provide any necessary solutions or assistance. For successful implementation of the applications for business use, we encourage each business to send up to two staff members to the workshop.

Participants need to bring a laptop, tablet or mobile device to the workshop. RSVP (limited seating) to Mitzi McMahan.
